One of our generous supporters has once again donated the use of her Portugal holiday villa, to be auctioned off in aid of Cancerkin. Located near Porto in the North of Portugal, the stunning villa sleeps up to 10 and has its own swimming pool, outdoor seating and dining area and lots of outdoor space.
A week’s stay in the villa will be auctioned off on ebay. The auction will be open for bids from Thursday 12th May 2011 at 8pm and will run for 10 days until Sunday 22nd May 2011 at 8pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to support Cancerkin whilst securing a fabulous treat for your family or a group of friends. Luxury villa in Portugal
The villa is a beautiful and private Manor House with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 1 WC. Outside there is a 10 x 5m swimming pool, toilet, shower and a large covered sitting area, which is useful during peak sun hours where you can enjoy your meals and watch the kids in the pool. If you prefer the beach, Praia D'AREIA is only 2km down the road where you also find small shops. Restaurants, supermarkets and all amenities are available 5km in the town of Vila do Conde, including the famous 'MARKET' on Fridays. The 10,000m2 grounds offer privacy and are ideal and safe for children to run around in. There are orange, lemon, kiwi and passion fruit trees in the garden, which you can help yourselves to (subject to season) and make delicious cocktails, smothies or juices. The villa is extremely well located for excursions both up and down the Costa Verde, and is around 20km from Oporto and 120km from Spain. Possible trips out include dinning by the River Douro at Ribeira, which takes just 20 minutes by car.
